Last updated: July 9, 2026

Netfox Software Co. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates GoSignPDF, including the website at gosignpdf.com, the PDF editor at app.gosignpdf.com, and related browser-based tools such as the PDF Colors Checker (collectively, the “Service”).

This page describes how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our Service.

We will not use or share your information except as described in this Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you agree to this policy. Unless otherwise defined here, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at gosignpdf.com.

Your Documents

PDF files you open in our editor or tools are processed in your browser on your device. We do not upload, receive, or store the content of your PDF files on our servers.

Information Collection and Use

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following types of information:

Account information (PDF editor only)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive information associated with your Google account, such as your email address and a user identifier. You do not need an account to use many features of the Service, including our standalone browser tools.

Payment information (PDF editor only)

If you make a payment or tip, checkout is handled by Stripe. We receive transaction-related information (such as payment status and amount). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Cloud sync data (signed-in PRO users only)

If you subscribe to PRO and sign in, you may choose to sync certain presets and settings (such as signatures, tags, measurements, and similar preferences) to our cloud storage. We do not sync or store your PDF files.

Usage and log data

When you use our website or web applications, we may automatically collect technical and usage information that your browser or device sends to us. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, language, referring page, the pages or tools you access, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to operate the Service, measure traffic, maintain security, and improve our products. This information is not used to inspect or analyze the content of your PDF files.

Information stored on your device

Some features may store data locally in your browser (for example, recent analysis history or working preferences). This data remains on your device unless you choose to sync certain settings to the cloud as described above.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We may use them, for example, to maintain sign-in sessions, remember preferences, or support basic site functionality.

You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you do not accept cookies, some portions of the Service may not function properly.

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party companies to help us operate the Service. These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to perform their services for us. They include:

  • Google — authentication and cloud infrastructure (Firebase)
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • DigitalOcean — hosting infrastructure

We may also load resources from third-party services (such as fonts) when required to display the Service. Those providers may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address) when your browser requests those resources.

These third parties are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.

Security

The security of your information is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us via the feedback form here. If we learn that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete it from our systems promptly.

Compliance with Laws

We may disclose your information where required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
