Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using GoSignPDF, including the website at gosignpdf.com, the PDF editor at app.gosignpdf.com, and related browser-based tools such as the PDF Colors Checker (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Netfox Software Co. (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Service.
Your Documents
PDF files you open in our editor or tools are processed in your browser on your device. We do not upload, receive, or store the content of your PDF files on our servers, except as you may choose to sync certain presets and settings as described below.
Accounts
Many features of the Service work without an account. If you choose to sign in, you may do so through Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your sign-in on the Service.
You must provide information that is accurate and current. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
PRO Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of the PDF editor are available through a paid PRO subscription or tip-based access. Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms and policies.
PRO may allow you to sync certain presets and settings (such as signatures, tags, measurements, and similar preferences) to our cloud storage. PRO does not sync or store your PDF files.
Subscription fees, billing periods, and cancellation are managed through our payment provider. You may cancel or change your plan by contacting us. We do not offer refunds for monthly subscriptions. For annual plans, we may offer a prorated refund at our discretion; please contact us to request one.
If your PRO access ends, you may lose access to cloud-synced presets and settings. Data stored locally in your browser is not affected.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not misuse the Service, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that could harm us, other users, or third parties.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding open-source components and third-party materials) are owned by Netfox Software Co. and its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Open Source and Third-Party Software
Parts of the Service include or depend on open-source and third-party software. For example, the PDF Colors Checker is available under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0), and CMYK analysis uses Ghostscript under the AGPL (or a commercial license from Artifex Software, Inc.). Use of those components is also subject to their respective licenses. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licenses where applicable.
Links To Other Web Sites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Netfox Software Co.
Netfox Software Co. has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Netfox Software Co. shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including any account or PRO access, immediately and without prior notice if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe suspension or termination is necessary to protect the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease. If you wish to stop using the Service, you may simply discontinue use and, if applicable, cancel any paid subscription through the process described above.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose, including professional, legal, or printing-prepress decisions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying results before relying on them.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Netfox Software Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have regarding the Service.
Changes
We may modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide reasonable notice before the new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use the Service after revised Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using the Service.
